About EMT 

Elaine Trevorrow began her publishing career at Penguin Random House, where she cut her teeth as an editorial assistant at Riverhead. After a stint with Google working in content management, she returned to publishing as a lecture agent at Knopf, eventually managing the Viking and Penguin lists.

 

In 2016 she launched EMT Agency LLC, dedicated to helping authors reach wider audiences and to extend the life of their books beyond the traditional publishing cycle.  EMT focuses on events that energize both the speaker and the audience, and are often accomplished by careful, prompt and attentive event planning. Beyond event management, Elaine uses traditional pitching strategies bolstered by data-driven methodology to conduct ongoing outreach for her clients.
